Anna Marie Henno is a 66-year-old senior citizen doing the best as one can as a one-armed, differently abled individual who has chosen to raise a special needs child. Typing this narrative takes extra effort that can not be fully appreciated by a typically abled person with two hands.
As an amputee who lost her left arm — it was her dominant arm — in a one-car accident due to black ice. Since she only has one arm, and it was her dominant arm, it’s even too hard for her to write.
Everything here is largely be dictated by voice, given the difficulty of typing one-handed, and edited similarly to get it presentable.
Everything is a challenge; everything is a frustration.
BUT, (and there is always a BIG butt) —
She’s not looking for sympathy; looking for solutions!
